Climate Change Protesters – Why They Matter

Do you remember all of the fuss over the global warming protesters and how they were tearing down billboards? While most people do not realise it the media still allows them to spew their nonsense. In fact, there are a lot of things the media gets wrong about global warming. The following is why I believe you should listen to what the climate change protesters have to say rather than what nearly all the politicians and media want you to hear.

You see, the debate over man-made global warming has been around for quite some time. During the 1970s the idea of global warming reached a fever pitch. While most of the media reported on the new theory, many scientists accused the warming theories of being utter rubbish. There were plenty of theories in the real world that did not make any sense. The media made this situation worse for themselves by giving fringe groups a voice and spreading incorrect information.

As a result, the global warming issue turned into a big political issue. Republicans wanted to do something about global warming, and Democrats wanted to stop the Republican agenda. So what happened? Well, while there was plenty of talk about global warming, the reality was that the Earth had been steadily cooling since the mid-20th century. It was getting colder, so the conversation turned to the notion of man-made climate change.

With that said, the media missed the boat. They reported on the global warming “debate” but neglected to mention that man-made global warming was the problem, not global warming. It turns out that the planet was getting warmer, which is what scientists who study the planet understand is actually causing all the problems. So now the planet is warming up again, and the politicians are saying that it is fine and that humans are causing only minor changes.

So how should people deal with all this? The first step is for people to realize that there is no real need to try and stop the current global warming trend. There is nothing that can be done to stop the increase in the temperature of the planet. In fact, that increase is accelerating and will continue unless something is done about it.
